The Fabrication Division at Instrument & Supply, Inc. with the other
divisions of ISI, insures the quality and workmanship of the fabricated items
specified by engineers, contractors and end users in the water and wastewater
field. The Fabrication Division was founded to provide our customers with a
source for high quality fabricated items for the environmental market that
compliments our principle product lines.
Our specialties are concrete and FRP products, aluminum and stainless metals,
including pre-packaged lift stations, valve vaults, metering vaults, oil
seals, and maintenance portals. We custom manufacture aluminum and stainless
steel items such as lift station and valve vault lids, access hatches, manual
bar screens, weirs, slide gates, and hoists. We also make carbon steel items
including lids for lift stations and valve vaults, skids for prepackaged
motor driven devices for water and wastewater pumps, blowers, and entire
underground ”canned” pump stations. We have provided elaborate chemical feed
skids and panels that include pumps, valves, controls, calibration columns,
and other items required for a complete system.
Our shop is authorized to build UL listed pump stations that incorporate all
items required for a complete system.
We have an explosion proof paint facility where we have the capability to
blast steel components to near white metal and coat them to an engineer's
specification with Tnemec type paint or two-part epoxy.
We often use the warehouse space to
store specific items for jobs. This helps our manufacturers get their
products out of their warehouses and into the territory.
